Beautiful spacious Gite

I would recommend this Gite with precautions. 1. The Gite is next to a farm as such there are an abundance of flys and mosquitos. 2. There is no wifi, as we didn't speak a lot of French (my duolingo ...lessons have not yet prepared me for a conversation) and the host doesn't speak any English we emailed but there was no reply so spent a lot of money on data bundles. 3. The house is very comfortable the beds provide a good nights sleep. 4. You need to bring all the essentials (we replaced the cutting knife, broom head and the duspan with brush, so not those). There's a mop but we couldn't figure out how to ring it. You will need, pillow cases, mattress sheets for all the beds (mattress protectors are already there) 2 or 3 single beds have duvet covers which are clean but all the other beds need covers. You'll need toilet roll, kitchen roll, tea towels, bath towels, hand towels, hand soap, washing up liquid as well as your normal food stuffs. There are plenty of large pots for large group cooking. Someone has done something to one of the sofas in the lounge leavingnit smelling awful and it needs a deeps clean. The property could do with a bit of a cobweb/fly clean but the kitchen sink, frontroom floor, toilets, showers and sinks were well cleaned. It is difficult to dry clothes the the utility room. You need a radiator or a through breeze. The garden is massive and well maintained. The children had a lot of fun playing out there. There are no shops within walking distance but we did enjoy the novelty of using the bread dispenser. I would always make sure a place is well cleaned before leaving but we were very rushed due to our boarding time being brought forward and i didn't do as much as normal so the 100€ cleaning fee was a lot but necessary this time. Très grand gîte bien aménagé, pratique et sécurisé. Bon emplacement car peu éloigné des plages. Seul petit bémol, les portes des chambres ferment avec un groom qui les fait claquer fort et trop lourdes ...pour les enfants. Merveilleux séjour en famille

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans ce gîte communal, merveilleusement bien équipé (ça nous change des nombreux styles d'assiettes, car c'est de la récup...). Le jardin est magnifique, et les ...enfants ont particulièrement apprécié de roulé sur la petite pente !! Nous y avons séjourné durant un week-end familial, c'était formidable. Séjour agréable dans ce gîte spacieux pour toute la famille, avec un bel extérieur clôturé. Seul petit bémol, le sol n'avait pas été nettoyé, il restait de la nourriture dans la chaise haute et sur plusieurs ...couverts. Il restait même un t-shirt sous un oreiller. Mais accueil très agréable, aucun souci à signaler en dehors de cela. Cela ne nous a pas empêché de bien profiter en famille. Ne pas oublier d'apporter vraiment tout le nécessaire minimum : papier toilette, sopalin, sacs poubelles, produit vaisselle etc. Read more

Beau logement vaste et confortable pour 14 personnes avec 6 chambres (dont une au RDC) et quatre douches, trois toilettes. Bien équipé avec télé et wifi, lave-vaisselle, salon, parking privé pour au moins ...quatre voitures, bien chauffé… Parfait pour trois ou quatre couples et leurs enfants. Très calme aussi. Petit bémol, le réfrigérateur un peu juste pour plusieurs familles, surtout pour fêter Noël. Globalement propre mais un peu de vaisselle sale ainsi que le placard à couverts. Rien de rédhibitoire. Un des meilleurs gites de groupe que nous connaissons dans la région. Read more
