From the windows of Marie-Jo's gîte you will see the bell tower of the Saint-Alphonse du Mont d'Halluin church and a blockhouse. Located near the Manoir aux Loups, a famous arboretum dating from the 1930s and close to the Belgian border, Marie-Jo's gîte is on the Chemin du Billemont, formerly the Gabelous trail. If in her countryside and inside her gîte, an old farmhouse partly restored, Marie-Jo has kept the spirit of the Flemish estaminet, to relax you some games from the region are at your disposal in the room. Near major roads (A22) and close to large cities (Menin in Belgium, Tourcoing and the Lille metropolis), you will benefit from a very good "starting base" for visiting the Flemish country and Bruges which is 40 minutes away.
