Quiet, in a green, calm and privileged environment, perfect for recharging one's batteries, history and heritage lovers should not miss the opportunity to explore the nearby mining basin, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (the mining sites: Wallers, the Mare à Goriaux and the famous Trouée d'Aremberg, emblematic course of Paris-Roubaix). The leisure base of Argales de Rieulay, located on a mining subsidence, offers the opportunity to practice canoeing. Hiking enthusiasts can take advantage of the many trails, while local shops are a 5-minute walk away and local producers 2 km away. The region is full of estaminets as well as local breweries for beer lovers.
